The Senga Sengana , grown by Alpe Pragas , is a semi-early ripening variety with medium-sized, dark red fruits.

Selected in the 1950s by Dr. Reinhold von Sengbusch , it is appreciated for its colour and aromatic intensity.

Strawberries are rich in vitamin C : 150 g covers the daily requirement and also provides manganese .
