Gentile – Preserves

Percoca in syrup is an excellent product from Pastificio Gentile in Gragnano (NA) , known worldwide for its PGI pasta. Along with its pasta, the company also offers a line of preserves called "Conserve di Mamma Maria," dedicated to rural tradition.

The peaches selected for the preserve come from crops in Altavilla Silentina (Salerno) . The fruits, harvested at dawn in late summer, are processed entirely by hand: washed, pitted, and immersed in a light syrup of water and sugar .

This artisanal care ensures that the peach pulp remains firm, juicy, and fragrant , preserving the sweet flavor of this summer fruit. They are ideal enjoyed on their own, as a topping for cakes, or served with ice cream.
