Master pastry chef Salvatore De Riso , originally from Minori (Salerno), is an icon of Italian pastry making. His work is deeply rooted in the scents and flavors of the Amalfi Coast , showcasing ingredients like PGI Amalfi Coast lemons and Giffoni hazelnuts.
Sal De Riso was the first in Southern Italy to be admitted to the Academy of Italian Master Pastry Chefs (AMPI), of which he was also President, and contributed to the spread of high-quality artisanal pastry making throughout Italy thanks also to his frequent television appearances .
